The three best performers in the world this year will line up for the race, including the new world record holder Ja\u2019Kobe Tharp. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 20 year old American clocked 12.75 seconds in early June at the United States Collegiate Championships in Eugene, improving by five hundredths the record held by Aries Merritt since 2012. A few weeks later, Eugene once again hosted a world class 110m hurdles race, where Jamal Britt claimed victory in 12.88 seconds ahead of Tharp, as part of the Diamond League. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The world record holder will be looking to get his revenge on Britt at Athletissima. A world junior champion, Ja\u2019Kobe Tharp still has limited Diamond League experience, unlike Britt, who finished second in Lausanne and third in last year\u2019s final in Zurich.
