Arshad Nadeem (PAK), Neeraj Chopra (IND), Thomas R\u00f6hler (GER), Keshorn Walcott (TTO) and Anderson Peters (GRN) are set to light up Lausanne. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The first four won Olympic gold at Paris 2024, Tokyo 2021, Rio 2016 and London 2012 respectively. Peters, meanwhile, is a two time world champion, having claimed the title in 2019 and 2022. They will be joined by the sport\u2019s new prodigy, Rumesh Pathirage (SRI), the 2026 world number one with a throw of 92.62m.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;This exceptional field highlights how the centre of gravity in world javelin has shifted towards the Indian subcontinent, with Pakistan\u2019s Nadeem, India\u2019s Chopra and Sri Lanka\u2019s Pathirage, and towards the Caribbean, represented by Trinidad and Tobago\u2019s Walcott and Grenada\u2019s Peters. The Lausanne crowd will have the opportunity to witness different schools of throwing and contrasting styles. Peters\u2019 meeting record of 90.61m will be under serious threat.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Switzerland\u2019s Simon Wieland, who continues to make impressive progress, has also been confirmed, along with the last two European champions, Czechia\u2019s Jakub Vadlejch and Germany\u2019s Julian Weber.
