The organizers of Athletissima did not return from Scandinavia empty-handed. A Five-Star Pole Vault Showdown

On Sunday in Stockholm, in front of his home crowd, “Mondo” Duplantis won with a jump of 6 meters, reaching or exceeding this height for the 57th time in his career. In Lausanne, the world’s number one athlete has two recent victories where he achieved the 6m feat, in 2022 (6.10 meters) and 2020 (6.07 meters).

Americans Sam Kendricks, two-time world champion, and Chris Nilsen, Olympic silver medalist, once again appear as his main rivals on the shores of Lake Geneva. The competition will also feature Frenchman Renaud Lavillenie, former world record holder, and Filipino Ernest Obiena, world silver medalist.

The event will take place at the Place de la Navigation, in Ouchy.
