Leonie Hügli Takes on the World’s Best

The season’s two best European javelin throwers, who also rank among the world’s top four, are set to face off in what promises to be a thrilling contest: Norway’s Sigrid Borge and Serbia’s Adriana Vilagoš. Lining up against them, Switzerland’s rising star Leonie Hügli, 21, will make her Diamond League debut. Fresh from breaking the Swiss record with a throw of 62.18m in Lucerne, she has every chance of challenging for a podium finish on a good day.
