On Wednesday, 5 July 1995, the Frenchman, Stéphane Diagana, breaks his second European record at Athletissima: 47’’35 in the 400m hurdles! After his course, he said: “It was the perfect mix of power, speed and rhythm. At the 8th hurdle, I felt good and picking up the pace, I knew I wouldn’t be beaten.”
