The world’s best women in the 400 hurdles
There is no doubt that the 400m hurdles will be one of the main highlights of the evening on 6 July, with a line-up second to none in the season so far. Led by Olympic champion Dalilah Muhammad (USA) who has just achieved a fantastic 52.64 at the US trials, just three tenths of a second outside the world record in a final where for the first time in history, three women clocked times under 53 seconds. Among them, Shamier Little (52.75) who will also be at the start of this race.

26 Olympic and world champions lined-up at Athletissima
With 13 Olympic champions from Rio 2016 and 13 reigning world champions from the 2015 world championships confirmed, this year’s edition of Athletissima should be another one to remember. Icing on the cake: 4 of the 17 events - 400m men, 800m women, 400m hurdles women and high jump - of the main programme will feature the top-3 of the Rio Games.

With the 18.11m jumped in Eugene, the American has already proven that he is in very good shape and that if someone is to beat Jonathan Edward’s world record of 18.29m someday, that is him.
