The 42nd edition of Athletissima Lausanne will take place on the 6th of July 2017 in the Olympic stadium of La Pontaise. Since the day after this year’s meeting, the organizers have been working to offer you once again an extraordinary athletic night.

In a major restructure, the IAAF Diamond League has adopted a championship style model with the finalists competing for a prize pool of $3.2 million.

Three Volunteers And Two Personalities Honored
Thursday the 17th of November, Athletissima honored three of it’s 350 volunteers as well as two prominent figures of the meeting in the Restaurant-Pizzeria Le Chalet de la Blécherette in Lausanne. Casual and familiar atmosphere, flashback on the 2016 edition, in presence of Ilaria Esposito and Antonia d’Amico, representing Swiss Volunteers and gaz naturel, two of Athletissima’s precious partners.
