Great Promise in the Middle-Distance
Jakob Ingebrigtsen rarely disappoints. The Norwegian, who set a world-best performance last year in Lausanne, returns with high ambitions this Friday to compete in the 1500m at Athletissima, one of the highlights of the 6th stage of the Wanda Diamond League. The men's 5000m features all the current stars, the 400m hurdles showcases Femke Bol, the 100m hurdles includes Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, the shot-put highlights Ryan Crouser, the men's long distance showcases Miltiadis Tentoglou and Simon Ehammer, while the women's 100m and 800m events also look very promising.

City Event: Thiam's Return and a Ukrainian Quartet
For the first time, the women's high jump will be the highlight of the "City Event" at Athletissima on Thursday, 29th June. In this officially sanctioned "Wanda Diamond League" competition, five out of the six top performers of the season will showcase their skills in front of an expected large audience in the heart of Lausanne, at “la Place Centrale”,starting at 6 p.m.

Athletissima is Gearing Up for Exciting Races Spurred on by Wavelight
Twenty Olympic and World Champions will keep the public spellbound at the Athletissima meeting in Lausanne on the 30th of June, the 6th stage of the Wanda Diamond League. The event will welcome athletes close to their best form seven weeks before the World Championships in Budapest. Great performances are expected over medium and long distances, as well as in the hurdles.

An explosive 5000m and shotput contest
Olympic champions Selemon Barega, Ryan Crouser and Katie Moon join the list of champions who will be present at Athletissima, the 6th stage of the Wanda Diamond League, on June 30th in Lausanne. The Ethiopian will run the 5000m, the American will compete in the shot put and the American in the pole vault.

Female stars in Lausanne
A dozen additional female stars have confirmed their participation in Athletissima taking place on the 30th of June. Among them, the Olympic champion, the Puerto Rican Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, and the world record holder, the Nigerian Tobi Amusan in the 100m hurdles, and the queens of high jump, competing in the City Event. As well as the “crème de la crème” of Switzerland.
