Mujinga Kambundji won gold in the 200m, her younger sister Ditaji silver in the 100m hurdles, Jason Joseph bronze in the 110m hurdles, as did Simon Ehammer in the long jump.
William Reais and Timothé Mumenthaler from Geneva won a bronze and gold double in the 200m, and Dominic Lobalu was crowned European Champion in the 10,000m, just a few days after winning bronze in the 5,000m.
Of the eight medal-winning athletes, only Angelica Moser (European champion) will not be at Athletissima this year, as the women's pole vault is not on the programme.
Congratulations to all the athletes, and well done to the rest of the delegation for their exceptional performance in these championships!
