Rai Benjamin is making his big comeback in hurdling… in Lausanne!

As a last-minute guest star, Rai Benjamin will compete in his one and only 400-meter hurdles race of the season in Lausanne. The American is one of the three giants of the discipline, along with Karsten Warholm and Alison dos Santos. But this year, he has decided to focus primarily on the 400-meter dash, winning notably in London.

Seeing him back on the hurdles at Athletissima, one year after his world title in Tokyo, is sure to be exciting. Benjamin holds the second-fastest time in history in the 400-meter hurdles, with a mark of 46.17 seconds. This 400-meter hurdles race at Athletissima will serve as an additional event.
